Description

Pencil drawing, signed with initials,
lower left, inscribed in pencil:
"Hunters Turned Out" lower right.
6 ½ x 10 ½ (18 x 21) inches. This drawing was made after Armour's service in the Great War. It was probably done while he and his second wife lived at Malmesbury, Wiltshire and is illustrated in his autobiography "Bridle & Brush", Chap XIV, p. 333.

Painter in oils and watercolours of horses and hunting scenes. Painted and hunted with his friend Joseph Crawhall. Illustrator and cartoonist with Punch, The Graphic, Country Life and the Illustrated London News.
